1. What Spinback is

Spinback is a VS Code extension and web platform that displays sponsored text in AI coding assistant spinners and pays 60% of ad revenue to the developer whose machine served the ad.

2. Developer terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to receive payouts.
• Earnings accrue in your account and are paid out via Stripe when your balance reaches $10.00.
• Payouts are processed within 3 business days of your request.
• We reserve the right to withhold payment if we detect fraudulent impression activity (e.g. automated clicks, impression stuffing).
• The 60% revenue share applies to net ad revenue after payment processing fees.

3. Advertiser terms

• Ad copy must be accurate, non-deceptive, and relevant to a developer audience.
• No adult content, illegal products, malware, phishing, or deceptive claims.
• Campaigns are non-refundable once payment is processed and impressions have begun serving.
• Spinback reserves the right to reject or pause any campaign at any time.
• Impression counts are tracked server-side and are final.

4. Prohibited activity

• Running automated scripts to generate fraudulent impressions or clicks
• Attempting to circumvent the impression tracking system
• Using the platform to distribute malware or phishing links
• Creating multiple accounts to artificially inflate earnings

5. Limitation of liability

Spinback is provided "as is." We are not liable for lost earnings due to platform downtime, Claude Code updates that affect extension functionality, or changes to third-party services we depend on (GitHub, Stripe, Railway).

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Spinback after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
